Like its Christmas season counterpart the One of a Kind Spring Show showcases North American artists, makers designers and craftsperson’s and it has been in running since 1979.
This year it was hosted at the Direct Energy Centre at the Exhibition Place from March 26th to the 30th and in addition to bringing back some of the Christmas show makers, the spring show introduces different artists and companies. Fionna Hanna graduated from the program in 2013 and is part of the Contemporary Textile studio Co-op in Toronto, where she works on her line of accessories and housewares inspired by nature, Canadian life and her biology degree. check out her website and online store here.
2010 graduate Alana Mcleod is also a part of the Contemporary Textile Studio Co-op where she creates housewares, accessories and installations inspired by the Northern Ontario landscape and her heritage, check out her work here.
